Injective Expands Tokenization Push With SEC Transfer Agent Registration

On August 19, 2026 Injective's affiliate Injective Institutional Services registered with the SEC as a transfer agent, enabling the blockchain to maintain ownership records, handle transfers, distributions and corporate actions for tokenized securities. The registration positions Injective as one of the first layer‑1 chains with RWA and regulatory readiness to accelerate tokenization, strengthening crypto infrastructure links to traditional markets and boosting adoption prospects.
Injective has taken yet another step in its tokenization efforts with the SEC registration of its affiliate Injective Institutional Services as a transfer agent. The move is meant to provide the blockchain with a levelled playing field when it comes to maintaining ownership records of tokenized securities. It also strengthens Injective’s efforts to connect markets with blockchain infrastructure.
