Aptos proposed a native Encrypted Mempool to allow users to submit transactions privately while preserving network speed and transparency. If approved through governance it would make Aptos the first Layer 1 to offer built-in encrypted transaction submission at the protocol level, a protocol upgrade that could boost crypto privacy, reduce front-running risk and drive DeFi and DEX adoption.
