The Shiba Inu ecosystem is gearing up for its most significant architectural evolution to date, confirming plans to integrate Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) into its Layer-2 blockchain, Shibarium.

Lucie, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, recently confirmed on X that privacy functionality using Zama’s Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) technology is officially coming to Shibarium. 

She noted that this integration could enable fully private on-chain transactions and confidential smart contracts for Shibarium and its gas token, BONE, potentially rolling out before the end of Q2 2026.
