Binance Labs, a venture arm of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, recently announced plans to invest millions into a community-led web3 education platform, Open Campus.

The strategic investment plan was unveiled by Binance today, November 27. Furthermore, Binance Lab’s strategic investment plan created a buzz within the world of cryptocurrencies as it portrayed the firm’s venture into developing Web3-based platforms.

The objective of this investment is to bring new users into Web3 and encourage native users to engage in education by introducing innovative Publisher NFTs.

These NFTs enhance the earning capabilities of content creators and facilitate revenue-sharing opportunities for co-owners, fostering a more inclusive and lucrative environment.

Binance Invests To Boost Web3 Education

According to the statement issued by Binance, the firm has invested a whopping $3.15 million in Open Campus.

Furthermore, Yi He, Co-Founder of Binance and head of Binance Labs, recently stated that Open Campus encourages the creation of top-notch educational content by integrating Web3 tokenomics and technology into the educational landscape.

Besides, at Binance Labs, people proactively search for and invest in initiatives that promote the extensive adoption of Web3. The education sector, given its significant potential, emerges as a pivotal field for bringing users onto the Web3 platform.

Open Campus Partners TinyTap To Revolutionize Web3

TinyTap, a branch of Animoca Brands and a prominent figure in EdTech and user-generated content publishing within the $5 trillion education market became the inaugural user of Open Campus. This platform, ranking among the Top 10 grossing kids’ mobile applications on both the App Store and Google Play, boasts a user base of over 10 million families.

Collaborating with Open Campus, TinyTap initiated a climate change initiative in partnership with Care Bears, introducing a series of educational content and Publisher NFTs. Open Campus, leveraging adopters like TinyTap, aims to offer on-ramp services, including wallets, token payments, and incentives, to propel the adoption of Web3.
