At the Blockchain Life 2025 conference held in Dubai, Pavel Durov formally introduced the Cocoon network, short for Confidential Compute Open Network.

Cocoon is described as a decentralized compute network built on TON, with the goal of enabling private, secure AI inference and compute tasks.
