More than a hundred thousand Americans are now at risk of identity theft and fraud after a hacker hit a financial firm.

In a new filing with the Office of the Maine Attorney General, Next Level Finance Partners, doing business as Century Support Services, says 160,759 Americans are impacted by a major cybersecurity incident.

The Pennsylvania-based firm says that someone gained access to its computer systems on November 7th, 2024, and was able to steal its customers’ personal information, which may include their full name, date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license and/or state identification number, medical information, health insurance information, passport number, financial account information and digital signature.

“Upon detecting the unauthorized activity, we immediately contained the incident and commenced an immediate and thorough investigation. As part of our investigation, we engaged leading cybersecurity experts to identify what personal information, if any, was involved.

After an extensive forensic investigation and manual document review, we discovered on or about May 30, 2025, that one or more of the files potentially accessed or acquired by the unauthorized party contained personal information.”

Next Level Finance Partners says it is currently notifying impacted victims, letting them know they are entitled to a year of complimentary identity theft protection and credit monitoring services.

The firm says it has yet to discover any case of identity theft or financial fraud related to the cybersecurity breach.
