On July 23 Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev's X account appeared compromised after promoting a memecoin called Vladhood (VLAD) tied to Robinhood Chain and linking to a contract starting with 0x92d; the post was deleted and neither Robinhood nor Robinhood Crypto announced the token. On-chain monitors estimate the exploiter netted roughly 650 ETH (~$1.2–1.3M) and the token was flagged as a potential scam, highlighting security risks around rapid memecoin token launches, DeFi/DEX scams and platform adoption vulnerabilities in crypto.
