The long wait for GTA 6 is finally coming to an end, as the trailer for the game was officially released today. The release comes a day early after the trailer leaked earlier Monday. The last installment of Grand Theft Auto came with GTA 5 back in 2013.
Rockstar Games began teasing the newest GTA game shortly after the tenth anniversary of GTA 5, with many fans begging for an update on the next installment of the franchise. Grand Theft Auto 5 is the second highest-grossing video game franchise of all time, with over $190 million copies sold. However, its GTA Online mode has been a consistent source of income for Rockstar since the game’s launch.
The runtime of the GTA 6 Trailer 1 is one minute and 30 seconds, and to some fans, it’s the biggest trailer reveal for a game ever.

GTA 6 Trailer Features
GTA 6’s first trailer shows two protagonists that may be playable in the new game, a male and a female. The female’s name is said to be Lucia at the beginning of the trailer. However, her male companion’s name is not mentioned.
Following the introduction to Lucia, players see a modern take on the infamous Vice City. The city is featured in the GTA 3 universe and parodies modern-day Miami, Florida USA.
The pair of characters can be seen on a speedboat, in nightclubs, robbing a local store, amongst other crimes. At first glance, the duo appears to mimic the classic story of Bonnie and Clyde but in a modern city. The trailer also shows Alligators in the swamps of Florida, modern supercars parked through the Miami streets, and people strolling across the beaches of the flourishing city.

Furthermore, there are in-game social media posts featured as clips in the trailer. This perhaps shows that the new game will integrate a social feature in its story mode.
