Will Pi Network End its Grace Period Tomorrow or Further Extend it?

• Pi Network grace period ends tomorrow on March 14. 
• Pi Coin surged around 6% today with a 8% increase in trading volume. 

Pi Network built its project in stealth mode for over 6 years. With a recent Open Network Mainnet launch, the project has been making a buzz around the crypto industry. The team has extended its “Grace Period” multiple times before, resulting in the community’s suspicion of whether it will truly end tomorrow. 

Pi Network Continues its Price Rally Regardless of Broader Market Conditions

Pi coin is trading at $1.71 at press time with over 6% daily price surge. Yesterday, the Pi coin continued its rally despite the broader crypto market experiencing weak momentum. 

While its market cap is hovering at $12.21 billion, the trading volume increased by more than 8%. Despite the price surge, Pi coin is trading much below its all-time high value of $2.9. 

Even though the community members are reporting several issues with the Pi network, it is extending its price rally. By surpassing the $12 billion market cap, Pi coin climbed to the top 11the position on crypto price tracking platform CoinMarketCap. 

When will the Will Pi Network Grace Period End?

The Pi Grace Period allows early pioneers and community members to complete their KYC and mainnet migration of Pi coins. It was supposed to end originally on Jan 31. But the Pi team extended it to Feb to allow all the community members to complete their migration. 

When the Grace Period was about to end, the Pi team further extended it to tomorrow, March 14. This raised concerns among its community members. However, the Pi Mainnet was launched irrespective of the Grace Period on Feb 20. Meanwhile, several community members reported issues with the Pi Network. 

While some early pioneers lost their Pi coins into this air, others couldn’t complete their mainnet migration. Despite these complaints, the Pi Network is growing by the day and recording a continuous market price surge.

However, we are unsure if Pi Network will choose to further extend its Grace Period for all early pioneers to complete their migration.
