Is Europe preparing to rewrite MiCA crypto rules?

The European Commission has opened a review of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) to assess whether the rulebook still matches the rapidly evolving crypto market and to identify adjustments affecting compliance, token launches, CEXs, DEXs and DeFi. MiCA was the first broad crypto rulebook backed by a major economy and the review could reshape regulatory clarity, adoption and fundraising across the EU while influencing policymakers in parts of Asia.
