A distressing video has surfaced showing Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan, detained in Nigeria since February, struggling to enter an Abuja courtroom for his money laundering trial. The footage shows Gambaryan denied a wheelchair and assistance from a prison guard, despite his visibly deteriorating health.

Gambaryan was arrested in Abuja alongside another Binance executive, Nadeem Anjarwalla, in connection with alleged illicit financial activities. His health has reportedly declined significantly during his six months in custody, with complications from a herniated disc and bouts of pneumonia, malaria, and tonsillitis.

His trial, initially scheduled for October 11th, was recently moved up to September 2nd. While he had previously appeared in court in a wheelchair, on September 2nd, he was seen in a much more distressed state, relying on crutches.
