Side Protocol SIDE Airdrop

Very soon Side Protocol will distribute airdrop to active users. To get the rewards, you must first be sure to register.

1. Follow the link and enter the address of the wallet you used to be active in the testnet:

The Side Protocol team has announced the launch Phase 3 of the Incentivized Testnet!

This phase introduces new product features and integrates with Bitcoin Testnet3, bringing Side Protocol closer to launching on the Bitcoin mainnet.


1. Download the Side Wallet from Github repository and extract the compressed file.


2. Open Chrome and click the puzzle icon in the top-right corner. Scroll down and select “Manage Extensions.” Click “Load unpacked” and upload the extracted folder:



Side Wallet has not been audited yet. It is recommended to use a new wallet address without any assets in the main network.


3. To access the testnet, use this guide.


4. Unlike Phase 2, which used Bitcoin Signet, Phase 3 utilizes Bitcoin Testnet3. You will need test tokens on this network, which you can request from a faucet (like this one).

5. By completing the above steps, you can start earning keys that can be exchanged for crates that unlock SIDE points. 

Complete all available quests on Side Hub to earn as much XP and keys as possible.




6. Deposit BTC. After obtaining BTC Testnet3 coins, bridge them to Side Chain on Side Hub:




7. Deposit Runes. Mint any Runes on Bitcoin Testnet3 via Unisat and then bridge them to Side Chain: 




8. Swap. Complete at least one swap transaction on the Side Hub:

The Side Protocol team has announced the launch of Phase 2 of the Side Protocol Incentivized Testnet. This phase focuses on updates including native BTC and runes connecting Signet Bitcoin to Grimoria, Side Protocol V1.


1. Go to the website and insert your wallet address (1), then request $BTC and $SIDE (2):

3. In the "Assets" tab, click on "Transfer" against the asset you need, in our case it is BTC:




Enter the number of tokens you want (1), then hit the "Next" button and sign the transaction in your wallet:




4. Go to the "Swap" tab and swap any (1) of your existing tokens for another from the list (2):




5. Go to the "Pool" tab. Select a pool with tokens that you have on your wallet:




6. Enter the desired number of tokens (1), then create a liquidity pool by clicking the "Add Liquidity" button:




7. Go to your liquidity pool settings by clicking on the "Manage" button (1), then click on the "Stake" tab (2):




8. Select any percentage of tokens (1) and send your liquidity to Stake (2) by clicking on the "Stake" button:




9. Follow the above steps periodically and stay active in the network.

3. You can now complete quests and earn XP and keys for which there will be rewards.

What to do with Keys?

1. Get a Box immediately
2. Save your keys to unlock higher-tier boxes as you progress to higher levels
3. Try your luck with a blind box to potentially unlock higher-tier boxes!

How to acquire more Keys?

To acquire more keys, apart from completing quests, you can also invite others to join. The more people you invite, the more keys you’ll receive. By using an invitation code, both the inviter and the invited user who has completed at least one quest will receive an extra reward of 50 keys. However, remember that you still need to level up to unlock higher-tier boxes.

Moreover, you can earn additional keys by providing valuable feedback. Fill out the form [here] to submit your feedback. Depending on the quality of your input, you may receive a significant number of keys! Note that some features, such as bridging, are temporarily disabled on purpose. Useful feedback may include, but is not limited to:

• Bug reports (e.g., amount inconsistency)
• Suggestions for product improvement (e.g., UI/UX)
• Identifying security vulnerabilities

5. Claim Rewards: Rewards from incentives are emitted every second. You can claim rewards after staking liquidity:

6. Locate your liquidity pool (in this example $BTCT/$SIDE) and withdraw some liquidity from it:

7. On the Swap page, switch to ‘Limit’ mode, and try out the limit order feature by submitting a limit order:

8. Delegate SIDE tokens to one of the validators:

9. In your current staking setup, select a new validator to delegate your tokens to:

10. Undelegate your tokens from the previously selected validator.

11. Select a governance proposal and cast your vote.

Done, all tasks are completed! You can spend your keys now, or start saving them up and spend them on more expensive boxes in the future. Remember to repeat these actions every day to get more keys.
