XRP Exchange Wallets Flip Negative as Coinbase & ByBit Outflows Echo Pre-Rally Pattern 

XRP may be entering another critical accumulation phase as on-chain data points to a sharp shift in exchange activity. 

According to market analyst Xaif Crypto, exchange wallet balances have flipped negative, meaning withdrawals from major trading platforms are now outpacing deposits, a pattern that also emerged ahead of XRP's rallies in May and June.

Data shared by Xaif Crypto shows Coinbase and ByBit have transitioned from net inflows to net outflows while XRP continues trading in a relatively tight range between $1.05 and $1.07. CoinCodex data places the top altcoin at $1.05, suggesting accumulation may be taking place despite subdued price action.

Exchange flows are closely watched because they often reflect investor sentiment. Large inflows typically indicate holders are preparing to sell, increasing available supply on exchanges. 

Persistent outflows, however, suggest investors are moving XRP into private wallets or long-term custody, reducing liquid supply and easing potential selling pressure.

Why should shrinking exchange balances be given a keen eye? Well, they have historically aligned with periods of stronger price performance. Xaif Crypto believes the current setup closely resembles the market structure seen before XRP's advances in May and June, when sustained withdrawals preceded renewed buying momentum.

XRP's Supply Crunch Narrative Grows Stronger as It Extends Historic Run Above $1 

The bullish case is further supported by XRP's remarkable resilience. The cryptocurrency has now remained above the $1 level for 627 consecutive days, the longest streak in its history, highlighting sustained market confidence even during periods of consolidation.

 Meanwhile, activity on the XRP Ledger continues to accelerate, processing nearly 1.98 million transactions over the past 24 hours. The combination of robust network usage and prolonged price stability has strengthened expectations that XRP is laying the groundwork for another significant move.

On the other hand, Evernorth Chief Business Officer Sagar Shah argues that XRP's long-term investment thesis extends well beyond price action. He maintains that the asset's true value lies in its ability to enable fast, low-cost cross-border payments and support real-world financial infrastructure. 

From this perspective, growing adoption and network utility are more meaningful indicators than short-term market swings.

Whether the latest wave of exchange outflows sparks another breakout remains to be seen. Still, the convergence of declining exchange balances, record-long price stability above $1, rising XRPL activity, and continued institutional utility paints an increasingly constructive picture. 

If demand accelerates while exchange reserves continue to shrink, XRP could once again benefit from the supply dynamics that have preceded previous rallies.
