Binance affiliates filed a Hong Kong lawsuit seeking $472.8 million against crypto payments firm RedotPay and founders Gao Zhangpeng, Chan Wa Choi and Yao Chao, alleging RedotPay diverted more than 470,000 Binance Card users via Binance Pay in breach of commercial agreements and materially harmed the Binance Card business. RedotPay disputes the claims and says operations will continue, but the legal action creates adoption and partnership risk for Binance's payments and CEX-related services and could dent market confidence in crypto payments integration.
