Profits from each subDAO are reinvested into the entire ecosystem and can be put towards operations in a different subDAO, or overall platform maintenance.</p><p>Vaults are the next layer crucial to Merit Circle’s operation. Vaults are linked to subDAOs and represent strategies that each subDAO can use in order to generate the most profits. Vaults are specific to each subDAO. This is because each game will have different earning mechanics and therefore require a different set of strategies in order to maximize returns.</p><p>Since NFTs are often used in blockchain gaming, Merit Circle has developed its own marketplace where players can trade, buy, and sell NFTs for use within games.</p><h3>What is noteworthy about Merit Circle?</h3><p>As part of Merit Circle’s products and services, the platform also incubates games via its very own gaming Studio. It helps non-Web3.0 games to transition into the space, as well as, allows Merit Circle’s own creations to be developed and receive support. Edenhorde is an example of a game incubated from within the Merit Circle DAO.</p><h3>What can MC be used for?</h3><p>The MC token has several use cases within the Merit Circle ecosystem. First and foremost, the MC token plays a vital role in platform governance. Holding even one MC token means that the owner can take part in the DAO. Anyone can submit proposals in the Merit Circle forum to be further discussed. Token holders are then entitled to vote on proposals, to either accept or reject them. An example vote could be on deciding how MC treasury funds will be used. Votes take place on Merit Circle’s dedicated Snapshot voting platform.</p><p>MC can also be staked via the staking portal.
