ArQmA (ARQ) is an open source decentralized public blockchain project.

ARQ is a cryptocurrency designed to be an alternative to local currencies. The implementation of ArQmA is based on two other open-source projects: CryptoNote and Monero.

Each transaction in the network is protected by robust cryptographic algorithms and distributed through a global peer-to-peer consensus network. Using cryptography ensures that no one can intervene in the online transaction, and the currency owner cannot spend the coin more than once.

The platform aims to be mobile, introducing, among other things, the following technical functions:

• Lightweight Proof of Work: Cryptonight-Pico aka Turtle algorithm.
• Additional lightweight transactions that can be tracked using secret keys.

Thus, the time to synchronize with the blockchain on lower-level devices is significantly reduced. For mobile and graphical wallets, trusted remote sites are available. There are also trusted remote hosts available for command-line interface (CLI) wallets.
